located in walking distance from olympiapark, chosen for that reason since we had tickets to a concert at the olympiahalle. located next to a tram station that takes you directly to the central station or the old city in just a few stops. very nice reception desk guy, helped us a lot with various issues, printed itiniaries for us etc.... Had a two night stay here for work. It was very good value, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and it was a very convenient location for both city centre (there are trams and U-bahn stops within walking distance), and for running in Olympiapark :-) I'd stay here again. More

I had the bad surprise that when I arrived at the hotel at 11.00pm as scheduled, my room was sold and I was told that I had to be there at 6.00pm. I showed my internet booking and they agreed that the information regarding 6.00pm was not there. Thy said this is a fault in the internet booking system. The... More

This is a great hotel. Service, breakfast and location all excellent. Suitable for business travellers. Only complaint was that my room was located on the top floor which was not serviced by the lift so you had to use the stairs for one flight if stairs. More

Rooms are always at a premium during Oktoberfest so the price of 227 didn't reflect the average. The hotel was welcoming, and quite efficient Breakfast was fine with enough choice although at 16€ a head extra, rather expensive The carpet in my room gave a faintly musty smell while the room felt slightly humid. The heating controller on the wall... More

Although we were visiting Munich (partly) for Oktoberfest, we deliberately chose a hotel away from the city centre. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, around a 35 minute walk from Haptbahnhof (station) or less then 10 minutes on the tram. The Olympic Stadium, Tower and BMW Welt complex were a good 25 minute stroll away through the... More

I stayed at Mercure Munchen am Olympiapark during the Oktoberfest. The hotel, as all the hotels in Munchen, are overrated during the festival. For a standard minimu comfort hotel I payed around 176 euros/ night which I think it's too much. As for the hotel it is a common mercure hotel: it is clean, comfortable and with nice staff. I... Just a healthy walk (you may ride the tram, too) from the fantastic museum quarter in Munich and the historic center, this Mercure is ideally simple and friendly. All staff is very welcoming, my room clear and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful just what you wand on vacation. I have perfect memories of my stay in Munich! More
