Our family of four (two kids (11 and 15) and two adults) spent five nights at the Pension am Kaiserplatz---the beginning of our trip and at the end. I had stayed at the pension in 1985, after my graduation from college. Since the pension does not have a web-site or an e-mail address, I called Frau Jakobi directly. I then sent a follow-up letter with the reservation dates. Frau Jakobi is an older woman with lots of enthusiasm; she enjoys talking to her guests. Her son, Thomas, helps her run the pension, since the rooms are on various levels and she is older.
Each morning we received a breakfast of coffee/tea/milk--request cold, because in Germany they warm the milk--fresh rolls, various jams and meat spreads. Our room was on the first floor, so we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs--no elevator. Our room was very clean with lots of towels. The shower and bathroom were on the hall.
