Pension Frank was my home for two months when I was a student living in Munich. I loved the rooms, the staff, the location... everything contributed to the bohemian spirit of that part of Munich. The Pension is within walking distance of tourist favorites like Marienplatz and the Hofbrau Haus as well as more "hometown" stops like the great music... more

I stayed in the Pension for almost 3 months while on a study-abroad trip for school. I absolutely fell in love with the surround atmosphere of the area, as well as with the people who ran and operated the Pension. We quickly befriended many of the workers, and return-residents. Pension Frank is in the student area of Munich, which has lively cafes and bars, and we felt very safe in the area. In the Pension itself, the rooms were very sparse and tired looking - but then all we really wanted was a place to sleep. The water for the shower was always hot, and although the place was... more
