This was our first trip together to Muenchen. As an American married to a German citizen, I have learned several things about traveling abroad. We made our reservations at the Deutsche Eiche several months ahead of our travel dates but were not informed of the construction but later learned that it was to have been completed prior to our visit.... more

I did not read my friend Trip Advisor before booking this hotel, so I am sorry to have to report that I was most unsatisfied with this Gay hotel. No kettle in the room to make a hot drink and reconstruction going on all around. I am sorry I did not read the other comments written before booking. Thanks for... more

Really nice rooms, renovated recently, wi-fi included, discount at the sauna on the ground floor (very practical especially late night/early morning). Very friendly staff. more

I stayed here for 7 days in July, and I'm going to rate the hotel 4 stars, with a few problems. I really did enjoy my stay here, but do take into consideration that the sauna is still under construction, and the noise is terrible. My room was on the second floor, and it overlooked the entire project. I was... more

Don't get fooled by the pictures you see on their website. The staff has terrible "attitude". No security, no safety deposit box in rooms. Limited hot water between 8-12. A restaurant downstairs - terrible food. We were not warned by the ongoing renovation - Im talking about carpenters banging at 7:30 in the morning. Sauna on the ground floor -... more

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Staff is very friendly. We felt at home the moment we walked into the front door. The room we had was facing the street which can be noisy at some times but when you close the window you can not hear any noise. The room was comfortable and the hotel is withing... more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of August 2007 and was reasonably impressed. The room available was with a small balcony and was €125 per night which appeared to include breakfast (otherwise €10) and wireless (otherwise €3 per day). The room had controls for Aircon but no aircon itself, just a radiator and a window... more

4 nights in august at 100 euros per night for 2 all inclusive, that was no bargain. And that only for their economy class basic rooms. Plushy people can choose from their wide range of plushy first and business class rooms at plushy price. Of course. Given it was situated a few minutes south of Marienplatz, we considered the location... more

Spent 3 Nights here; nothing fantastic but did the job. Public areas are rather tired looking and staff quite disinterested and really not very helpful when it came to getting advice on nightlife etc. Had a business suite which looked identical to pictures on the website. Was clean, spacious and had a nice bathroom. In room amenities included safe, TV... more

We stayed in a business suite. The room is a large, modern, nicely decorated space. Our bathroom had a nice sized tub and separate shower. Our king sized bed was two twins pushed together, but that is very common in Europe. The beds were comfortable. In the business suite you get a laptop computer which was very nice. The breakfast... more
