Pretty good location, sort of in between the main train station and the Marienplatz. The room was pretty drab, but the breakfast was good, and the city itself was great. I think I was expecting too much from this place, so I was a little underwhelmed. All in all, an ok place to stay. more

I stayed at the Herzog Wilhelm for 4 nights over the Easter long weekend. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the breakfast typically German - i.e. excellent. The rooms are simple but quiet (I had one at the back) and clean. No frills so that you can spend your money in eating/drinking in what is not a cheap city.... more

We stayed here from a Saturday to a Monday and it was ok. The hotel is in a great location-very close to Karlsplatz, the staff were very nice and helpful and the room was clean.
