Stayed here with family on a trip to Bavaria. Rooms are full of character. Located in a residential neighborhood, within 7 minute walk of Nymphenburg Palace. The staff is probably the most helpful and polite I have encountered in many a year. One of the largest biergartens in Europe is about a 10 min walk away also. The distance from... more

This spotlessly clean and pretty hotel is the gold standard! We could not ask for a more perfect and warm host than Sebastian. Communication by email to book the room is very easy. A week or so before the stay, Alexandra will ask for a confirmation by email. A short walk away is a big beer garden. Do not ask... more

We were three days at the Laimer Hof, and hope to return. Sebastian, as many have noted, was a wonderful host. He drove my wife to the hospital after she fell and sprained her ankle (while we were visiting the Olympic Village), and could not have been more accommodating. We feel we have new friends after staying there. Sebastian, his... more

I was fortunate to have stayed at the Hotel LaimerHof in Munchen, Germany recently. I say "fortunate" because rarely does one experience such a perfect hotel stay experience in one's travels and at any price. The service and stay were simply marvellous - the hotel, with its quaint and charming style and its superb location in a quiet, residential street... more

Large room. Old but comfortable furniture... small but complete bathroom. Typical German breakfast, but all is fresh and very tastefull bread. Great and helpfull staff. Quiet environment. Not so near to the center of Munich, but 300 m from the Schloss. So, we found it a great location. We paied for the room 95 euro the night, breakfast included. Next... more

Just got back from a great holiday in Germany. While in Munich, my friends and I stayed in the Laimer Hof for 2 nights. We couldn't have found a nicer place and were so happy with our choice. Even thought the exchange rate from pounds to euros isn't good at the moment, the price for a room was still excellent.... more

We stayed two nights at Laimer Hof. The rate is not cheap, but I think it's normal for big city in Europe. The room is a bit small, but have all you need. The bahtroom is clean and convenient. What I like the most is the breakfast. They have lots of food and drink. Great selection of tea and even... more

The Hotel is out of the center of town, but is very close to tram and s bahn links both to the city and airport and within walking distance of the beautiful grounds of the Schloss Nymphenburg and the largest bier garden in Munich. Sebastian and his wife could not have been more welcoming or helpful, recommending sites to see... more

Sebastian and his team were an absolute delight to have looking after us, they were really friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighbourhood, very close to the botanic gardens and only 5 mins walk to a tram stop that can take you into the city... more
