I stayed at the Tent in a tent for Oktoberfest and I found it a great bargain and a great place to meet people. I didn't stay in the bunks which seemed comfortable when I walked through. The staff are very friendly and hooked me up with some Aspirin for a pounding headache the next morning. (I doubt I was... more

Imagine that you sleep with 500 young backpackers in a huge tent hahaha. You will need a good pair of earplugs, sleeping bag and humour! Helpful staff, good(and cheap) food, super clean bathroom and shower, campfire every night.. and you can reach the city centre in 15 min by tram. If you're a backpacker it's a right place to stay.... more

This place was fantastic. So wierd tho. You either get a bunk bed in a big tent and get given some blankets or u get a mat and some blankets and find a space on the floor in another big tent. we chose the floor for saving moneys sake and it was sweet, u could have as many blankets as... more

This place was so much fun to stay in! Everything was really clean, the bathrooms/showers where never full and they have lots of places to hang out. The food was organic, really good and really cheap. Internet was .50 per 15 mins. Ask for more blankets than you think you need because it is really cold and they don't give... more

This place is great! We stayed there for 3 nights and could've stayed longer - although it's outside Munich it's easy to get the tram (get a 3 day pass which works out at a very reasonable price as you'll use it a lot), so the location isn't a problem. Staff all very friendly, and beds surprisingly very comfortable if... more

I stayed here 3 nights. Super friendly and helpful staff; everyone speaks English perfectly and they make you feel at home! Awesome environment in the common room at nights (bar, delicious dinner at a very accesible price, movies in English, board games, books, magazines etc). Free use of guest kitchen; very clean and well equipped. I found everything I needed... more

First off, know that this is not a hostel, and if you are looking for a full night of quality sleep, you will not be getting it here. However, if you are looking for a place where the accommodation is as much of an experience as the trip itself, then this place is like no other. It's ridiculously cheap. You... more

The Tent is for the most part a camping experience in a more suburban neighborhood of Munich. A guest can sleep either in a personal tent on the grounds, on the floor with blankets or in a bunk bed. Overall the Tent Munich is great. There's not much to do in the surrounding neighborhood, so one can ride tram 17... more
