This is a great budget hotel. Great location in the center of town. We were very impressed actually by the size of our room. It was rather large compared to the other B&Bs we stayed in in Europe. We did NOT have a good experience here. Our companions were first given a room where the shower door was broken, the toilet didn't flush and was leaking sewage onto the floor, and the heat wasn't working (in December!!). This hotel gets 4 out of 5 for it location, as it was 2 minutes away by foot of everything you would want to see in Munich (although the Englischen Garden is about a 25 minute walk, but a scenic one). Excellent location in the middle of central Munich. Some of the rooms are better than others--we had one which was downright bad, but they changed us when we asked, and all the other rooms weren't bad at all. Clean and cheap. Very wll located with a traditional decoration. Amazing spiral wooden staircase (there are no elevators). A little noisey, specially when there are football games, because of the bar close to the entrance door. more
