A small hotel very quiet. In contrast to the other reviews , i must say , that my room was cleaned up well. I am arussian woman and i was very surprised to have a room with russian television. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights during Oktoberfest (we booked well in advance!). The room we had was on the ground floor by the reception, but as they had installed double doors, the noise was blocked out quite effectively. We stayed in hotel "Marienbad" in Munich for 6 nights this September. Pros: The location is superb - 5 mins walk to Karlsplatz (which has S-bahn train - directly to airport), approx.15 mins walk to Marienplatz, but very quiet at night - surrounded by office buildings (so there are no shops or restaurants nearby) and located in the second row... more
