Arrived at this hotel, jacked up rates and no english. This hotel appeared ok but after paid and receipted, was asked to fill in registration card, told room is in another hotel 150 metres away... I was excited to get to Munchen, to stay in a classic type of hotel such as one presented by the Goethe Hotel website. Big disappointment! The room was very cold, poor light, difficult stairs to walk! However, they had very interesting pictures on the "restaurant" walls... with the Turkish president. I would recommend this nice and clean hotel in the centre of munich. There was no problem during the whole staying in the hotel, whats even more we had great services from the very nice staff. We felt there as at home, it was always good feeling coming back from work to this hotel. I already stayed in more hotels... more

A delightful hotel with an old world charm. For a 3 star hotel I shall definitely rate it as above average. Staff are very friendly and polite. The owner certainly welcomes one with gusto! The breakfast selection was excellent. We had a choice of anything from smoked salmon and cold meats to yogurts and cereals. more

A group of 15 of us stayed in this hotel for 2 days. We found it to be a decent hotel in a good location, only a 2 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof and 10 mins walk from Marienplatz.
