Sollner Hof is a very comfortable and neat hotel in the inner city suburb of Solln in the Southwest of Munich. It has a Bavarian small town feel to it, but it is still in touch with cosmopolitan Munich. The hotel itself is very well maintained, and my room was perfectly clean and neat. The Bathroom was better than I expected it to be for a 3*hotel. Only downside was, that wireless internet access was not free of charge, but for the room rates they are charging, it is not to be expected. Breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel of this size, for that alone this hotel is recommended. All in all this hotel was perfectely fine for my needs.

The location of the hotel is something I wondered about, though. It is far from the city centre and not near trade fair/conference facilities as far as I am concerned. It is neither too attractive for tourists or business men - but I guess everybody has a reason to stay here, and if you do, I can really recommend this one. more
