I stayed here for one night in December. They had over booked my dorm. I was offered a cot/extra bed for €10 (not including the deposit I paid Hostelworld). Another girl who turned up later was without a bed. My cot was falling apart- it was sinking in the middle. The pillows are lumpy and disintegrating. The other guest were... More

Very good hostel. It's located in the old town not far from small market just outside the entrance to the train station. Then turn left inside and pass along the city walls about 250-300 meters. This is the place where are the columns with the 10 commandments, one of which is in Russian. As a landmark - you'll find the... More

For sure the worst hostel I ever stayed in, luckily it was just for one night. I'm really not the fussiest person in the world, but the room me and my friends had to stay in was absolutely disgusting. When we arrived, the man who welcomed was (he was very friendly by the way) directed us to our room and... More

In the past fifteen years I have stayed at dozens of German hostels - both of the DJH (Deutsche Jugendherberge) and independent hostels. This hostel is located in a convenient location in the city centre and also close to the central station. The staff on the desk were very friendly and helpful – particularly the German-speaking American guy (I can't... More

I notice this place has got some bad reviews, I stayed here back in early 2011. To be honest I found the rooms very big and although staying in a 10-bed room there was only 4/5 of us which was nice. The rooms have lockers in them and you don't need your own pad-lock. The hostel is in a good... More

By far the worst place I have stayed in. The rooms have no keys so you get strange people wandering in in the middle of the niht. They also smell very musty. There is shared bathrooms for the floor- horrible because the showers are only curtains so a bit of a privacey issue abd also push showers which turn off... More

Hostel room's floor are covered in a blue carpet that has turned into black because of the dirt. There are several bedbugs in the rooms.

Students and travellers on a budget will find this hostel a cheap and cheerful alternative to the pricier hotels in town, but with a correspondingly reduced level of comfort and cleanliness. You will need your own towels and soap, and linen or a sleeping bag is recommended (or you can hire for 3 Euros a night). On the plus side:... More

We stayed at this hostel having just arrived from the arduous flight from Australia and a train trip from Frankfurt, so we were pleased to find the place cheerful, clean and quiet. The rooms were spacious and clean, although a little worn. The bathrooms were clean and the corridors quiet. There was a good 24 hour kitchen and sitting area... More

I stayed one night at Lette'm Sleep. That was one night too much. In October, on a frosty night, there was no heating. The bedsheets didn't fit the beds, and were threadbare (in places even ripped). The surroundings were less than salubrious, although convenient for the main railway station and town centre, the hookers down the round did things no... More
