The description above "Standard 5-story Hotel on the outskirts of town, on main Nuernberg-Passau Road" really says it all. The hotel is not easily reachable, the bus stops nearby, but only every 60 minutes, it is not very nice from the outside and the inside. The room was VERY hot despite drawn curtains all day - air conditioning would be an asset in this part of Germany in the summer.
We especially disliked the fact that we had to carry our suitcases up some stairs to reach the elevator. No one offered to help.
The owner was around at breakfast to ask how everything was and to tell his staff off when they did not clean the tables straight away. Other than that, breakfast also was nothing extraordinary.
The hotel has 4 German stars, but I have stayed in nicer 3-star hotels.
Good points: a gas station right opposite, also good for chocolate and drinks, and a cinema with out-of-the-ordinary movies in walking distance.
