We spent a weekend here with our two young children under 7. We booked two connecting rooms which included breakfest for 170 Euros a night. Overall, we would stay here again for the hotel's location, charm, and generally good service. We arrived by taxi and had a lot of luggage, but there are no bellboys at the hotel so a... more

With the Drei Mohren, the experience certainly does not live up to expectations. Check-in was a bit tedious and I was uninpressed with the linguistic skills of front desk staff. Having booked a King Bed room I was first given a twin and had to return to reception to get a double bed room. Which was still not a King... more

We stayed at the Steigenberger this past March. The weather was cold and damp, but the beauty of Augsburg still came through. The Hotel is located in the middle of town, near most of the shopping and the towns attractions. There is an American style mall within walking distance if that is your thing, but there are plenty of local... more

Probably the most central location you'll be able to find as Augsburg hotels go. The public areas and the staff (cool and reserved) in the hotel live up to what can be expected from a Steigenberger property. The restaurant/brasserie is very nice. The rooms and bathrooms are plain, in comparison: clean, not cramped, but a bit outdated and in dire... more

After a very long and exhausting journey I arrived at the "Drei Mohren" very tired indeed to stay overnight. I was received with more charm and authentic friendliness than I have experienced in most hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. Do not expect 5-star luxury - I would say this is... more

Got to the hotel and the front desk all had frowns. They wanted to charge us more than we had confirmed. No air conditioning at all. When was the last time you stayed at a 5 star hotel with no air. They gave us fans. No extra beds for the little ones. I felt like I was in a small... more

We were part of a large family party which booked many rooms at this hotel in the summer of 2004. Initially, I was placed in a dreary, top-floor room with little light. I politely requested, vigorously asked, and then demanded a change to a room with a bit more light. I am skilled at communication, and am not generally considered... more

Without doubt the location of this ***** Steigenberger hotel in the heart of Augsburg's city right on the Maximilianstrasse is one of the best in town, the hotel however is in our view far from five star. We were offered a dodgy, smelling outdated room with a bathroom that might have been hip in the 70s, far from today's standards.... more

The Steigenberger Drei Mohren Hotel is also a member of the SRS World Hotel chain. Closely situated close to the railway station and historic zone along the famous Maximillianstrasse so provides easy access for excellent shopping and sigtseeing in the city. There is a private and secure carpark at the rear of the hotel. Look out for special offers on... more

The Augsburg Drei Mohren is an excellent hotel, very clean, decent sized rooms by Euro standards, and incredibly heldful staff. The breakfast buffet is great, a wide variety of meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, bread etc... The hotel is very North American compared to some European hotels I have stayed in with a spacious lobby, internet access, 2 restaurants and a... more
