The hotel is conveniently located and has a helpful staff. Breakfast is great. We were assigned the basement/downstairs room, however. This is a very odd room and feels more like someone's living room than a hotel room. Positives of this room: very spacious and quiet. Negatives: very dark, awkward layout. When we asked for a low floor we didn't expect to be put in the basement! We arrived late at night having informed the hotel. They didn't seem to know of our existence but eventuallly acknowleded we had booked. We were shown the room down some steepish stairs. There were three beds in it.
