Location was very good, but in Dinkelsbuhl everything seems convenient. The town is a gem and the hotel adds to the setting. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection, and the owner/manager/staff does a heroic job keeping everything in tip-top shape. There are steps to go up from the first to the second floor which might prove a difficulty.

This hotel was very cute and had a good breakfast. It had a great location and the brewery across the street had great beer. However, the hotel smells like cigarette smoke right when you walk in. Our rooms were on the top floor, and you could still smell the smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. It was not...

Danielle was very pleasant, recommended places to dine and to visit. Our room was on the top floor and it was very warm, but she gave us 2 fans. It was the hottest day of the year, so definitely not the hotel's fault! We had 4 beds in one room, and still had space to move around. Bathroom was very...

Dinkelsbühl is a wonderfull town, lots of great places to eat, drink, shop and walk. We had the most warm welcome when we arrived. The rooms are charming, spotlessly clean, and the hotel is in a great location. It's pet friendly. And it's easy to park opposite, although technically across the road as has been said in other reviews it's...

My wife, daughter (21) and I stayed at this hotel as a "halfway" stop driving from Bonn to Mittenwald in Bavaria. We were absolutely captivated by the town and the hotel held up its end of the bargain - it was a clean, comfortable hotel with charm and a friendly proprietoress that added to the charm of the town. We...

Dinkelsbuhl is a pretty little town on the Romatic Road, far less tourist filled than other towns in the area. We found this hotel a pleasant stop over in a tour of Germany. The room was bright and cheerful and the service friendly and helpful for someone with a limited knowlegde of German. Street parking across the road was less...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Palmengarten in Dinkelsbuhl for a full week before Christmas and took driving day-trips each day. I wish our second week of train travel further south was as memorable as the week in Dinkelsbuhl.
First of all, Dinkelsbuhl is a treasure, and much less overrun by tourists than Rothenburg. Most mornings we would...

This is a conveniently located hotel just off the main road through Dinkelsbuhl. We found it on a German hotel booking web service and found it easy to get our reservation. The room was guaranteed with our credit card, but was not charged to our card until we checked out. It's easy to get to, though the map that was...
