We have stayed here twice now and enjoyed both visits. The hotel is possibly a little tired although bathrooms have been updated and everything works and beds are comfortable. Fussen had no vacancies so we traveled North a short distance and stumbled upon the Hotel Alpenblick while looking for a place to eat. we was in the thats lovely hotel for 2 nights, our agent booked it. we; are suprised at the check in, a great location, rooms with balcony and a fantantic view over the lake and the the alps, we do not use the sauna and massagecenter. The owner and receptionist was very rude - the rooms were not remodeled very old and musty - the service was bad - bedrooms had no ammenities not even a soap in the bath room for the price you would expect a clean bath room. We stayed two nights at the Hotel Alpenblick and had a wonderful experience there. The hotel is located ai a lovely promenad at the lake "Hopfensee". some restaurants near by, but the hotel restaurant ist also very good. If you are a smoker, this is the place for you. Rooms are small and clean but no view of the Alps except from the front steps of the hotel. Breakfast was very good. However, there are nicer hotels in this price range and less in the area. more
