Stayed two nights at this delightful and beautiful hotel. We had a gorgeous room in the renovated section. Perfect for our needs. My wife was ill upon arrival, soup was sent to our room! This hotel excels In terms of the hotel staff, food and service. But we had booked a room via booking.com which is a great rate but therefore guests are placed in the original building. Just back from a Europe trip and this was easily the most charming property we stayed in! The hotel is no larger than a bungalow and has a limited number of rooms. You expect poor value for money in a tourist location like Rothenburg. Not here. Great Hotel. Beautifully modernised old building, and great location. Hotel dining room excellent, with specially good service. Would recommend it to anyone, but especially middle aged singles. more
