My husband and two girlfriends stayed at this hotel in Sept 2008 and it was in a wonderful location! Right on the main square so it felt like you could always see what was going on. They have tables set up out in the front so you can sit there as long as you want and order food and drinks.... more

The Goldenes Lamm is in my opinion the best located hotel in Rothenburg. It faces the central square and has lovely tables outside where you can eat and drink great German beer. I loved my four-day stay at the Hotel Goldenes Lamm. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean, and you absolutely cannot beat the location, right at the market square. Breakfast is simple but great: delicious rolls and strong fresh coffee, orange juice, etc. You won't regret staying here. more
