Four of us stayed 3 nights at the Apartmenthaus Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany over a long weekend in October of 2008. I booked the hotel because of its price...less than 270 Euro for four people for 3 nights!! This price included the charge of 5 Euro a day for parking within 25 feet of the front door of the property in a gated parking lot. When we first got to the property we were not sure we would stay because of the appearance of the property...it is very "run down". We decided to stay anyway and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. Our room had 4 twin beds which we had to make ourselves. We had a private bath and shower, a refrigerator and even a stove that we did not use. We had a BEAUTIFUL view from our room on the 6th floor overlooking the canal and the Sony Center.
