Stayed for five nights -ideal location being so near Zoo station for links all over Berlin and some good restaurants-check out Cafe Art down the road . The hotel is located in a great spot to get the buses and trains. No air conditioning (the desk did provide a floor fan), antique elevator, difficult to use safe and room key. Breakfast which was included was good. No ice vending machine; had to ask desk several times to obtain ice. Noisy as we had to have the window... more

This hotel made it easy to use public transportation in Berlin. It is close to bus stops and the Metro. We bought a 72 hour pass that gave us access to busses and underground trains. The Express bus from the airport drops you just a couple blocks from the hotel and the underground located in the same area takes you... more

This small hotel is in a great location near the Zoo Station S-Bahn and less than 10 mins walk to the Uhlandstrasse U-Bahn. The neighbourhood has plenty of bars and restaurants and it's a short walk to Sauvignyplatz where there are plenty more dining options. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and solicitous. We stayed for fve nights and found it to be excellent value for money in the city centre. A good location with easy 5 mins to the S-bahn. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and smart, decent breakfast. more

We liked the location, the friendly staff, nice room. We booked walking tours for two days - the meeting place was at the train station just a block away. Furthermore, several good restaurants are a short walk away. I have no reservations about recommending this hotel. more
