We stayed for a holiday in December. We found the reception staff very helpful and friendly - drawing on a map where to find the best Christmas markets and sorting out late check out for us with no fuss. The location is excellent - both for walking to central tourist attractions and for transport links on the S & U... more

My wife and I were disappointed with this hotel. It would be an adequate 3 or 3.5 star hotel, but it most certainly is not a 4 or 4+ star hotel. The good news - our room was spacious for a European hotel room. The bad news, everything else. For starters, there was no doorman, or were the employees we... more

The Berlin Marriott is conveniently located next to the Potsdamer Platz station, as well as the Brandenberg Gate, Reischtag, the Spree River and the Tiergarten. The rooms are large, clean and nicely appointed. The staff is very helpful. My husband has access to the Marriott Executive Lounge and this was the best Executive Lounge we've experienced anywhere in the world.... more

I stay at Marriotts a lot on business travel-this Marriott is a step above the ones in the US. I stayed on the 9th floor and had access to the executive lounge. The selection of food and beverages was outstanding. They had hot and cold items for breakfast and cocktail hour, and a nice selection of beer, wine, and alcohol.... more

I stayed at the Marriott for the recent 20th anniversary of the wall coming down and the Marriott was the ideal spot for the festivities as I could walk everywhere. The room was fine, but I was disappointed in a few things: 1/the towels were TINY - I am a petite woman of 5ft2 and could just about get a... more

I stayed here 5 nights for an International Conference and was very pleased with my overall stay. Check-in was very smooth and I received my room preferences without problem. Room and fittings were good and the bathroom was spacious. My only criticism of the room is the 'old style' TV, which are slowly becoming more scarce in hotels of a... more

Just returned from a week stay at the Berlin Marriott and highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Berlin. All the staff were very gracious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were decadent! Only downside was that the bathroom was somewhat basic for such a new hotel, but this is being picky. The... more

We booked through Opodo. The choice of the hotel was based on location and price. The Marriott was a good choice. Location was very central. The room was comfortable, typical of large american chain hotel. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Parking is cheaper in the Sony Center than at the hotel parking-lot. The only negative point was the smell of... more

We stayed for three nights from 26th Oct. My husband, daughter 4 and I shared a standard room. With two double beds it was plenty big enough for the three of us and very comfortable. A last I've found a bed that actually compares favourably to mine at home. The breakfast was great. There was plenty of variety with about... more

We stayed at this Marriott for 6 nights. Nicole, the guest relations manager, offered us an upgrade to a corner suite and executive level access for 120 Euros/night and I have to say that that was a great deal. The two room suite was spacious with floor to ceiling windows which I always love in a hotel. The door was... more
