This place is a one-off! All the rooms are themed and the corridor walls are packed with works of art. The owner, Frau Josopovici is delightful - she is known in Berlin as the Fountain Fairy because of the work she has done helping to restore old public fountains.
The rooms are clean and comfortable though rather sombre. Most of the rooms have a shower but you have to go down the corridor to use the bathroom because of planning restrictions in this old listed building. Breakfasts are good, including freshly squeezed orange juice, and are brought to your room.
