Very lovely hotel in Mitte, a stones throw from Alexanderplatz. The rooms are amazing and the showers are my favorite! The sign of the 'too cool for school' is the Adidas branded Lux 11 shell suit's the reception staff wear. My only complaint is you have to pay extra for wireless. more

We had a very pleasant stay. It's a great location - a stroll to museum island etc, Mitte restaurants, and the metro. No air conditioning in most rooms - it's a conversion of an old building, which adds a bit of character. Rooms are modern; shower in the room, tea/coffee and a compact kitchen! I booked the this hotel based on the reccommendation of my friend in Berlin and the photos of the hotel website. I was a little bit disappointed because the room wasn't as nice as the photos. Stayed at the Lux as part of a group booking for friends attending a launch party in the City. The hotel staff were great, the breakfast is a good buffet with delicious croissants. The beds are not true king size but are ok for a couple and perfecly comfortable. Very design magazine looking room but white walls inevitable get scuffed.... more
