Stayed 3 nights at the Melia Berlin ... it is a very good chain hotel - clean, friendly staff, relatively new interiors/decor, and well positioned near the Hauptbahnhof and on the River Spree. On the negative side, there was only one English speaking TV channel - BBC World - which can get boring very quickly, and no tea/coffee making facilities... more

Melia is exactly what a hotel should be. Clean, nice rooms, good bathrooms, cheerful and friendly staff, convinient location ! You can even get a view of the river from the room !!! I liked the breakfast buffet of the awesome spread of hot and cold foods. more
