We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2008 for 4 nights. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Kochstrasse U-Bahn and Checkpoint Charlie. Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of june 2008. Took two rooms one for my wife + i, one for our kids. Rooms were clean, bright + well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, as helpful as they needed to be (we didn't challenge them with anything). A little surprised that the hotel was 4* rated, more... more

Just right....good value, clean good sized room, nice shower, good bed, close to Kochstrasse U-Bahn stop. Interesting neighborhood just a couple of blocks from Checkpoint Charlie. Really liked it. Only downside, did not seem to be any airconditioning, but it was very hot while we were visiting and room stayed comfortable. more

Great hotel with a superb location near Checkpoint Charlie and only five minutes walk to the U-bahn stop at Kochstrasse. I bought a Berlin Welcome Card from the BVG stall in the airport when I arrived, which allows you to hop on and off the buses and trams within the city and gives reduced entry to lots of the attractions.... more

Professional reception staff with very good English. Very clean room, not huge but plenty big enough. Very modern with new looking furnishings. Toiletries and shoe shine pad provided. Hair drier and digital safe in room. Shoe shining machines on every level. Lift (elevator). Breakfast was 12 euros and looked popular. We ate elsewhere as it's easy to find reasonable places... more

We stayed here over Christmas. When we arrived on Christmas Eve there was a Christmas present waiting for us each on our bed! A lovely touch. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent hotel in a good location in Berlin. U bah station within 5 minutes walk allows easy access to the whole city. Hotel bar open through the night which helps as well. Rooms are not massive but very clean and modern and are big enough. Breakfast is about 12E and there is lots of it if you want to fill... more
