I stayed here for a week whilst visiting friends in Berlin - the apartments are great examples of old East Berlin apartments, but be aware that this also means they have very poor soundproofing! The apartments were clean and reasonably basic but nice, and in a great location. The only issue is that there is no reception for the Lodge - you pick up the keys from a cafe, and the poor cafe staff don't know much about the Lodge... Also, be aware if you get one of the upper floor apartments there are a lot of stairs... I would recommend this place though as it was quite comfortable and well priced! more
