Only one thing makes me unable to recommend this hotel. The most unpleasant odor in the rooms. Our first stay was for 5 nights in Feb, 2009 (mother in Klinik). Had a basement room. I recently stayed at the hotel because of the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. I went to Brement to watch Bundesliga football - Werder bremen v Bayer Leverkusen. Hotel is situated in quiet and safe area close to the Werder Bremen home stadium Weser Stadion. The distance to city center is about 30 min by foot but there is a tram just around the corner leaving to the center.
