We went to Hamburg on a stag do when we stayed at Meininger. Location is a bit off, but close to the tube. A great stay for one night, we had familyroom with four beds. Nice and clean modern rooms. Hard to get a parking but we paid 10 E for the garage. more
We had a room for 4 with bathroom. The room was big with big windows. No air-con though, so being very hot we had to sleep with windows open. This hostel has only recently opened and this is clear in its new and clean facilities. It is located with about 3 minutes walking distance of one of Hamburg's main train stations - Altona - which makes it a good choice if you're arriving by train.
