We spent two nights at Motel One whilst travelling around Europe. It is in a great location. Close to the city centre, docks and nightlife. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and being a new hotel everything is neat, tidy and works.

We stayed for 4 night , very busy hotel , breakfast a bit cramped in the morning but great food . Bar at night busy but comfortable , good variety drinks . Hotel on busy road but set back , not noisy. Great location . Rooms very modern , clean and plenty room

I stayed here for two nights on business. The check in was easy with a very pleasant receptionist who spoke excellent English. The location is handy enough for shops and sightseeing and is far enough away from the action to be quiet. The rooms are small and basic, but very clean. Very nice hotel with well trained staff. However, we have two small boys (1yr, 2yr) and the cot took all our floor space. It is basically ok for business and single people but not a place for families. However, there are some family rooms available according to their website, which to our understanding are two rooms with a connecting door.

Location is very good, quiet part of near-by-harbour and Reeperbahn, but outside the red district. Rooms quite nice and very clean, modern, functional. Breakfast is ok, parking fee is extra, garage is rather busy place, a lot of nice restaurants nearby, also good location for a stroll around the harbour, some Beatles places in Hamburg and fishmarket or U-434 Bootmuseum.... Very close to down town, lots of places to go to nearby within walking distance. Parking is 15 euros extra, the parking lot gets full quickly, you might need to park on the street and get your fee reimbursed. When we stayed there the Wi-Fi was not working, only in the lobby. As a regular business traveller, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and the service is very good. I wouldn't recommend it for families, but ideal for the business traveller. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Motel one in August 2012, the rooms are small but functional.The bed was extremely comfortable. Its situated in an ideal location and breakfast was sufficient although it would have been nicer if it was less crowded. Its simplistic, clean, reasonably priced and ideal for short stays.
