The hotel does not look much from outside but the suites are roomy with living area, bedroom and three way bathroom. Mini bar microwave and sink, with kettle and coffee/tea supplied, are part of the living area. The rooms were really comfortable, providing a safe and secure base to explore Hamburg. This hotel is located west of the city center but close to a metro station (1-2 blocks). The area to the west contains many popular bars and restaurants, and is one of the "hip" areas of Hamburg according to a trusted local. We wanted a small suite for two parents and one adult child. We also wanted easy access to the city center, but not necessarily in the city center. And we needed parking for a car. This hotel satisfied these criteria with easy access by metro to anywhere in the city. It is not however within walking distance of anything interesting.... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. As described in other reviews the layout is a bit odd, but it's perfectly acceptable if all you want is somewhere to sleep and are out and about during the day.
