This hotel was convenient for us a we had a car. Our room was faced away from the autobahn and towards an open field. It was peaceful, clean and tidy. more

This hotel is right off the A7 autobahn, and thus very convenient to get to if you have a car. It's about 15 minute drive to the city center. I didn't follow my usual practice of staying downtown, but decided to try Le Meridien based on reputation. Web site said 5 miles (????) from city center. This hotel is conveniently located for some local industrial sites, but otherwise it is too far away from Hamburg city centre, Rooms do not have air-conditioning, and need redecoration: those facing the highway are noisy.
