My stay was between June 2nd-5th and I really enjoyed staying here. It was recommended by my friend who lives in Hamburg and is a great place for the lower budget range. It is just around the corner from the main station in a cool area with little cafes & bars and is walking distance to the Alster lake as well as the main shopping area. The hotel itself is like an apartment within an apartment building and it is spread out across two floors. Each room has different decor (from what I understand, you can also choose your room when booking). I stayed in room 15 which is a single room, but it was charming & really comfortable. My friend had room 20 which was a double room with balcony and a funky retro 80's style, white-leather, double bed with radio. The bathroom & toilet were separate both our cases, but you still get a wash basin & mirror and the shared facilities are very clean.
