Excellent reasonably priced hotel. Great views and rooms bright, spacious, well equiped and clean. Food was excellent. Location good and the hotel has parking. Very friendly and helpful staff made my 2 night stay an extremely pleasant one. Highly recommended.

Stayed one night in the hotel. Ideally situated to explore the Hamburger Hafen, as well as the famous Reeperbahn. I had a room on 4th floor, and therefore no view on to the harbor, but only on to the roof and AC-Installations of the restaurant part of the hotel. But this was not a problem for me, as I arrived... Staying here for two nights during a conference has truly been an excellent experience. Friendly service, excellent rooms and a good location just around the corner from Hamburg's famous Reeperbahn. The in-house conference facilities were fine. So I would recommend it.

On a first visit to Hamburg, it was suggested we start with drinks at this bar. I enjoyed a Manhattan cocktail with wonderful evening lights overlooking the river. The nibbles kept on being replenished, the music was bright and right for the environment, and the drinks were reasonably priced - an excellent start to the evening.

The hotel was strategically located near the fishmarket, Reeperbahn and the harbour. Rooms were clean and tidy. 20UP skybar has amazing view (day/ night), it gets crowded on he weekends. On the whole great place to stay while in Hamburg

I'm obviously too fussy but I do expect wifi to be available in my room if I choose to pay but it should be free these days rather than being given a cable at reception and told there is no wifi, especially at these prices. The Empire Riverside is a wonderful and unique hotel located right at the river Elbe and provides an amazing view over the City or the harbour. It’s just great – we go there frequently it possible. You don’t have to take a room in the 15th floor to enjoy the view. Even 8+ floor offers a stunning view
