Just spent 2 nights on business and really enjoyed the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was great, proper shower and good desk for laptop work. Breakfast was good and the bar on the 20th floor has terrific views. Very close to the Reeperbahn area which is very sleazy and miserable. Not good. more

Just stayed one night, but it was a good experience. Staff were very friendly - room was clean and smart in a modern boutique kind of way. From the 15th floor the views were great and it is just two minutes walk down to the riverside. Would definitely stay here again. more

The Empire Riverside Hotel is located in the so called Red Light District, a very poor substitute of Amsterdams Red Light District. Check-in is sober, no warm welcome or so ever. Very nice room with a wall-sized window towards the port; modern design with Artemide lightning and very comfy beds; the bathroom was perfect with both great shower and bath. I would recommend this especially for business travellers. more
