It's been a while since I returned from a business trip in Germany. It was to be my first time there, but certainly not the last. Due to the fact my company was to have me spread out all over Europe for a about a month, let's just say some of the accommodations were less than stellar, with the exception of the Hotel Donnersberg.
Now I'm the type of business traveler that likes to get away from the office and really relax. This is what Hotel Donnersberg offered. A great room at a great price without all of the hustle and ho-hum of some tourist hotel. It's a business traveler's dream come true for the peace and quiet that its location offered.
I didn't expect much in terms of a good hearty breakfast in the morning, but breakfast is a lovely continental spread with assorted meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries and whole grain breads. The owner even took the time to have a fresh French-press cup of coffee for me when I came down in the morning. Oh- la la! Il etatit grand.
