The hotel tries to be posh, but does not really deliver more than the average downtown Darmstädter 4 star hotel.

Biggest advantage is the surroundings - I went out for a morning walk in the forest and spotted wild boars and in a very peaceful environment. Despite this you're only 15 minutes from Darmstadt.

Restaurant is OK, but not more, breakfast is the average (good) German, with some nice extras. While this hotel is not as fancy as its website suggests, it is still not a bad choice if you want some country side surroundings while remaining close to Darmstadt. more
