An inexpensive family run hotel on the north eastern edge of Frankfurt in the village of Bergen Enkheim. The restaurant (which serves a buffet breakfast as well as excellent evening meals) has superb views over the Main valley and Frankfurt. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
This is a very enjoyable alternative to downtown anonymous multi star hotels at fancy prices. It has been in the same family for many years and is a flourishing business.
Access to downtown with a no.43 bus for 10 minutes or so which drops you right next to the U4 underground terminus from which it is a 10-15 minute ride (buy a through ticket on the bus). Not far from the A661 motorway.
If you have the time there are pleasant walks from the hotel. A popular place with locals for cafe and kuchen at the weekend.
