Pros: free minibar, free water, free fruit platter and the bag you get to go to the gym (water, slippers, etc.), staff very friendly and good, free happy hour at the bar between 6pm and 8pm (!!!), price: EUR... more

We booked a room with the cheapest rate available so the room itself was very basic, but the service we received more than made up for the generic room. We were personally led to our room and we mentioned that we were celebrating our Anniversary. Within 10 minutes, room service showed up with a complimentary bottle of champagne! When we... more

The staff at this hotel are very personable and helpful. However, the room was old and shabby (although the bathroom was nice - it looked like they had recently renovated that but forgot to do the room!) and the 'free' minibar pathetic. The food was overpriced to an incredibly silly degree e.g. 5 Euros for a very small bowl of... more

After a long train journey, we arrived on a cold winter's night. We had a few problems finding it in the dark, but once there we were really made to feel welcome.... more

My fiance and I stayed here for one night while we were in Frankfurt visiting the Christmas markets. We absolutely loved the hotel! Got an amazing rate thru the Leading Hotels of the World website. The location was so convenient, a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station, the service is really friendly, the room amenities were great (we... more

What a lovely hotel. It is easy to get to with one stop on the U bahn from the Central Station or if you want to give your legs a stretch it's a 15 minute walk from the station. We had a warm greeting from the female receptionist who showed us to our room, which was in the wing. WOW... more

The hotel has a distinct 1950s "Wirtschaftswunder" charm, combining period furniture with lots of real antiques. It doesn't look or feel like one of those generic contemporary luxury hotels at all where everything is part of the same neo classical design concept. It has a more layered and lived in quality. And therefore the quality of the furniture and the... more
