This is a well appointed hotel based in the business district of Frankfurt, around 10 minutes (and a 20 euro) cab trip from the airport and another 10 minutes (and 20 euro cab fare!) to the centre of Frankfurt. We ran into the huge Auto Show in Sept and couldn't find many affordable options so we used Starwood Cash & Points to stay here. The location isn't the best for tourists but seem to suit business travellers pretty well. Whoever,leaves negative reports for this hotel,is just a miserable old crashing bore. It is great,in a sort of country location but not...and very quiet for a city,super staff,clean,well run,great rooms,fabby food,super pool,Free Internet,what more do you want?..its great. Nothing special about this hotel. Rooms were clean but small, the queen bed was actually a twin by U.S. standards. They must have a different "sweet sleeper" matress in Europe because the ones in the U.S. are nice, this one was not and was hard as a rock. I stayed here at the end of June for a 2 day conference. The hotel isn't really close to the airport and it's also quite out of the centre of Frankfurt. It was almost 20 Euros to get there by taxi. This hotel is billed as an airport hotel - it is about 7 miles from the airport in Frankfurt and has no shuttle. They advertise "complimentary internet access" but if you want to use your laptop in the hotel room that will cost 9 euros an hour.
