The Intercontinental is a great hotel to use as a base for Frankfurt. It is only 5 minutes away (by foot) from the old city center. Goethe house and the old Cathedral are very close. A very good business hotel in a great location. One block from the river and footbridge across the Main river. 3 blocks from the Central Frankfurt railway station. Friendly staff at check-in and check-out (fast too). Room was very well maintained and spacious for European standards. Good wireless internet service.
