Me and my wife were at the Luxor Hotel in the end of November. After reading some reviews from this hotel, we were a little bit frightened if we had made the right choice. After our 3-night stay we are ready to say that this hotel is much better than some reviews tell. - The staff was very friendly (except... more

I stayed here in October. The hotel is small, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety of items on the buffet. Wireless internet is available but there is a fee. The hotel is right across the street from a train stop. Very easy to get to from the main train... more

Standard budget hotel close to all amenities: Unfortunately lets itself down badly with poor management and lack of professional vision. Low rates are reflected in truly appalling decor, tatty furniture/upholstery and elderly linens. Nevertheless, the beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean, the location very convenient to many aspects of city life and the staff who made an effort flew the "Luxor... more

Cheapish but lack of internal sound proofing meant sleepliness nights. Handy location. Would not stay there again. Hole in sheet and a previous occupant's medication in bathroom. more

The hotel has a great location, it's close to everything, walking distance from main attractions and has a tram stop just in front of it. The breakfast is OK, but don't expect nothing fancy. The terrible thing about this hotel is that it looks dirty and my room smelled like someone was smoking in there all the time, the carpet... more

If your'e on a budget stay here. We walked around at night with no problems. Intelligent opened minded people would stay here. The breakfast was very good for what we payed and lets face it on a city break or holiday who goes abroad to sit in your hotel all day. The bed was brilliant as i do have a... more

The room had no airconditioning (in July) and so had to leave windows open to get clean air (lobby and stairwell was extremely smoky from cigarettes). Room faced on to a park where the disco was on the other side of small park and people yelled most/all night during the 2 nights we were there. The carpet was absolutely disgustingly... more

We will definitely not be returning to this Hotel. Management and staff extremely unhelpful. Hotel is in a very bad area of Frankfurt. Close to the centre but not recommend you walk anywhere around this area at night. Rooms seem to used by the local trades. more
