If you're looking for a conveniently located, clean hotel, then the Leonardo Frankfurt City is a very good choice. The rooms are spacious, well sound-proofed and complete with a large bathroom, as well as a safe and minibar. The hotel is situated only a fifteen minute walk from central Frankfurt and the surrounding area is essentially safe, even if it... more

The hotel was unfortunately one big disappointment. They say that it is a 4-star hotel, but is should be maximum 3 star. Allthought it probably has all facities of a 4 star hotel on paper, we would not rate this as 4 star. Complaints: The doors of the elevator are stickey (dirty), there was no iron for my shirts, we... more

I needed an overnight room in Frankfurt as I was leaving on a train early in the morning. The Leonardo is very convenient to the Frankfurt Hauptbanhhof (main train station) - walking out of the main entrance to the train station continue straight across the plaza, cross the street in front of the station where all the busses and trolley... more

Our Flight landed at 6am but we were unable to check in until 2pm which after a 20hr flight was a very long day. I don't blame the hotel for that, however the hotel has no real facilities and the surrounding area does not have anything much to do. For the price you really get what you paid for, pretty... more

We stayed late March at Leonardo Hotel. As a four stars hotel we'd expected a bit better. Better furnishings, more facilities. In general it was a good hotel for the prices we payed. We checked in in the late evening and everything was ok, we got our keys and in the room. The room was ok, spacious, but not a... more

We booked a room in november. The day before our trip we send a mail to the hotel to let them know that we would arrive late and that this would not be problem. We got an answer: it would be no problem. Everything was alright for our booking. When we arrived at the hotel, there was NO room for... more

My boyfriend and i stayed here for a weekend break. we flew into frankfurt hahn with ryanair the day before, but arrived late at night so stayed in an airport hotel, before getting the shuttle bus to frankfurt main station (hauptbahnhof) the following day. Note - frankfurt hahn is 1h45mins away from frankfurt! what do you expect of ryanair though...... more

Firstly, the Lombardo is situated directly opposite the main train station in downtown Frankfurt. It therefore boasts a great location for touring the city during the day. Unfortunately, however, the Haut Bahnhof area of the city does not have the greatest of reputations and travellers, especially singles and females, should be wary wondering around there on their own at night.... more

I stayed in the Leonardo Hotel for 3 nights this week and overall the hotel is of a very good standard with well sized double rooms and decent bathrooms (bath with shower). The lighting in the bathrooms wasn't great and may pose a slight issue for female travellers (mirror is recessed into the wall and spot lights cause shadows when... more
