We met our relatives at this hotel for a family reunion in July 2006, and there were children or all ages to entertain. It was no problem here! --- . Our kids were in Heaven!
There are goats, deer, highland cows and bunnies to visit and pet, there is a playground, a pond for swimming, a bowling alley which can be rented by the hour (cheap), easy hiking paths to other water mills, farms and restaurants, a ping-pong table. The children were always off doing something, coming in only to eat. The buffet breakfast was tremendous and delicious and the meals taken at lunch or dinner time were also good (typical German fare). Our rooms were spotless, modern and inviting. Some had balconies or skylights, all had nice, clean bathroom facilities. I would definitely recommend this place for families or people looking for a quiet, 3 to 4 * establishment.
