I arrived Oct 3 for a 4 day stay. I came through the Arosa Hotel entrance to be greeted by a lady at reception. The key to #216 (that's 3rd floor in Europe) did not open the door. I called down and a young man appeared with another key that also was not programmed. A third try with another keys let me in. Unbeknownst to me, room keys also operate the lights, but I could not find the spot where to stick it. So another call. The room was spacious and very clean all around, as was the hotel. The view was to the rear with the 1942 bomb damage on the nearest house still not fixed. I decided to go on the town using the stairs. All three doors, incl. the reception front door marked as escape ways, but all three were locked. Thus I had to find my way through the darkened bar (Heute geschlossen!) to come out at the reception of the City Hotel which is connected physically and perhaps by ownership.
