Kassel is not really anyones location of choice unless you need to go there for business - so did we. The hotel's location is very good, right in the city center. I was not disappointed at the hotel. You cannot get much better accomodation in the heart of otherwise pretty forgettable Kassel. However, two things soured me a bit...for breakfast, one had to cross a shopping mall to enter the Mövenpick bar (cafe) for the buffet which felt simply uncomfortable.
