We stayed one night at this hotel while driving between Italy and Sweden. The hotel is reasonably central - a 20 minute walk to the main shopping and museum district, or 2 stops on the tram. University buildings, various bars and shops are a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. The interior design of the hotel is extremely dated (I'd guess our room had been decorated in the early nineties at the latest), but we found everything to be perfectly clean. Our top-floor room, 402, was quite big. The bathroom was particularly spacious, although again very dated. A major plus point for our room was the view - you could see over to the hills beyond the city, which was lovely. We received excellent service from the receptionist at check-in. We had very little significant contact with other members of staff, but they all appeared courteous.
