We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and found it to be comfortable and clean. The room was basic with timber floors and a very firm mattress. The hotel is in a great location right next door to the Drossel Gasse, which is full of touristy shops and quite expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included... more

Rooms good size, very comfortable. Hotel decor impressive. Excellent location, plenty of interesting eating and drinking places within easy walking distance, although the hotel itself has a fine beer garden. Staff extremely helpful , the only problem was that we couldn't extend our one night stay as the hotel was fully booked. Loved the chiming clock! more

This hotel alone is worth visiting Rudesheim. Our room, with balcony, was large and lovely. The welcome sekt and breakfast the next day were fabulous. The staff, including Mr. Breuer, were gracious and efficient. One of the best hotels of our trip and worth the extra splurge. more

What could have been an unpleasant experience was turned into a very good one due to the attentiveness of this hotel's staff. After several hours of train travel from Brussels, my daughter and I arrived at this hotel where my daughter had booked a reservation through an on-line reservation site the night before. Unfortunately, the reservation had not made its... more

We have just returned from a four night stay in this charming hotel. I cannot fault the hotel at all, the room was very clean, the staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was very enjoyable. The hotel is centrally situated and within easy walking distance to shops, train station and ferry terminal. I would recommend a cruise on the... more

The hotel is charming, clean and very good for leisure travelers, especially honeymoon or romantic events. The check-in and checkout were quick and simple. The staff was very nice and helpful. Many of them speak English. We booked it directly, through its website and all the arrangements were made by e-mail without any problem. We paid 135 Euros for a... more

Having spent Easter in Rüdesheim and staying for the 8 time at Rüdesheimer Schloss reassured me that this is possibly the friendliest hotel in the world! The staff is excellent and extremely freindly, the reception including a glass of sekt is a classic. The rooms are in deed very nice and not to mention the great food & wine. more

Bookings directly made to the hotel by e-mail is impossible, because they don't answer your mail at all. Expedia works fine. Other guests seem to get a welcome champagne, we didn't get anything. Reception staff was unfriendly, almost rude. Rooms are quite spacious, but don't reach the comfortlevel that you might expect from a 4-star hotel. Neat and clean, but... more

Breuer's Rudesheimer Schloss is a great Hotel, I would say a perfect experience if it wasn't for two things. One was that the room was too hot, there was a control for underfloor heating in the bedroom but the bathroom was still on, making the whole place too hot for us. Secondly, the beds were too soft, and far softer... more

The Breuer Rudesheimer Schloss Hotel web site doesn't do justice to the hotel, restaurant, or location. Everything was excellent. We stayed at Rudesheimer Schloss at the end of our trip through the wine country in Germany. It is outstanding -- from the greeting at check in right through check out. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the food... more
