The Wienecke XI hotel is conveniently located to go to the Hannover Messe (a short, 5 min, walk to the tram stop and another 5 mins by tram to the expo area), but a little too far from the city center (10-15 mins by tram or approx. one-and-a-half hours walking). It is clear that the hotel is mainly focused on business people and participants in congresses, since the rooms are small and absolutely unpersonal and there is almost nothing to do in the surrounding area (some fast-food pizzerias and burguers and a few german bars or restaurants for the locals). Although the rooms are clean, the beds not too uncomfortable, and the staff friendly, this hotel is too expensive for what it offers. And what is worse, internet connection is not included in the price (in a congress centrum/hotel!!!) and costs 8 euro/hour !!!!! more
