There's a very American feel to the hotel. From the wallpaper in the rooms to the sports bar in the lobby it could as well be in Kansas City. Despite the lack of local colour, the hotel is good value for money. A spacious double with a view of the Maschsee lake costed us about 80 euros. more

If your looking for a peaceful stay...beware! This property is directly next door to a huge soccer (football) stadium. You get allot of noise from the stadium. The hotel lobby, restaurant and bar become overwhelmed with the crowds from the match during game day. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town and located well for the Maschsee lake and the Sprengel Museum. Despite the friendly staff on reception I was a little disappointed by this hotel. The room smelt damp, the mini bar was empty (you have to go downstair to the "mini market" to fill it), there was a minimal room service menu and breakfast wasn't available in the room until 6.30am. more

I stayed there in March 2007. Good hotel . Not in the center, but on the lake Maschsee and in the middle of park. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Just there is no pool or sauna. more

I booked two rooms for one nights overlooking the Maschsee in conjunction with the Rolling Stones Concert in the arena next door.
