This hotel is about 4km west of Bielefeld town centre, so I paid nearly 10 euros for a taxi from the station, but once there I discovered that there's a regular bus service which takes you from close to the hotel to the centre in less than 15 minutes.
There didn't appear to be other eating options within walking distance, but the hotel's own restaurant offers excellent food, and breakfast was above average.
Ideal for people who like calm, with walks in nearby woods. The community zoo is also not far away.
The rooms are clean and functional - mine was light and airy, although it looked a bit dated, with a ghastly green bathroom suite. There seemed to be plenty of parking space. more
